Dr Simon Ravichandran MBChB.MRCS
Dr Simon Ravichandran is a Key Opinion Leader in Aesthetic Medicine and specialist in non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Simon initially trained as a surgeon before retiring from the NHS to commit full time to the development of aesthetic medicine, co-founding Clinetix with Emma in 2009. He is highly sought after as a lecturer and educator in aesthetic medicine, known for his passion and enthusiasm when teaching, and has lectured and demonstrated in America, Canada, Taiwan and throughout the UK and Europe. Simon also has a regular clinic at London’s famous Harley Street Skin Clinic. He is the co-founder of the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners (ASAP) and the Aesthetic Training Academy (ATA). Simon’s passion is innovative non-surgical aesthetic medicine and he has been pioneering an approach to rejuvenation using combination treatments to achieve outstanding aesthetic results with minimal downtime.
Dr Emma Ravichandran BDS.MFDS
Dr Emma Ravichandran is a Key Opinion Leader in Aesthetic Medicine and specialist in non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Emma initially trained as a paediatric dentist but has dedicated the last 14 years to pursuing excellence in the field of aesthetic medicine. Co-founder of the Clinetix Group, the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners (ASAP) and the Aesthetic Training Academy (ATA). Emma’s reputation and dedication to the highest standards in practice have led to guest lecturing, key opinion leader roles and articles in a wide range of industry journals. All these activities have promoted and shared the safe and effective application of the latest aesthetic techniques and products. Throughout the many strands of her professional life, Emma places the ultimate benefits to patients at the heart of all her professional and clinical decisions.
Dr Paula Mann BDS(Hons) MFDS.MFGDP
Dr Paula Mann joined the Clinetix team in 2017 whilst working as a dental surgeon in her own practice. In 2018, Paula made the decision to dedicate her time exclusively to facial aesthetics, putting her background in cosmetic dentistry to good use. Paula now regularly assists with delivery of training courses at the Aesthetic Training Academy and frequently presents at national dental and aesthetic conferences. She is also an Innovation Partner for Merz Aesthetics and is regularly asked to contribute articles to industry journals, demonstrating her expertise as a highly qualified practitioner. Paula continually develops her skills and learning in order to provide the best care possible. She is passionate about providing treatments that will improve patients’ confidence and well-being – producing natural results which subtly enhance, not change, a person’s facial harmony.
Dr Caroline Henderson BDS MJDF Dip Rest Dent RCS
Dr Caroline Henderson joined the Clinetix team in 2019. Prior to that, Caroline worked as a dental surgeon, working in a private dental practice, where she developed a keen eye for carrying out aesthetic treatments. During her time with Clinetix, she has completed extensive training in facial aesthetics at the Aesthetic Training Academy and now assists Dr Paula Mann in running educational courses for other doctor, dentist and nurse practitioners to get started in aesthetic medicine. Caroline enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients, so they feel relaxed and able to discuss their specific concerns. This allows her to create a bespoke treatment plan for each patient and deliver the best aesthetic results.
Saoirse is a passionate Clinical Aesthetician with over 10 years’ experience. She originally trained as a beauty therapist but wanted to get into the aesthetics industry to provide more medically led skin treatments to really be able to help treat clients’ concerns. Saoirse carries out a wide range of treatments including peels, micro-needling, microdermabrasion, laser and light treatments, laser hair reduction and HydraFacial, alongside expert advice and treatment packages for topical skincare. Whatever, concern clients initially present to the clinic with, Saoirse is there to provide the best clinical advice and treatment outcomes to rectify those concerns.
Mara is supported in the day-to-day running of the clinic by our excellent Front of House receptionist, Morgan. Morgan has a background in all aspects of office administration and customer service. As our Front of House, Morgan will be the first face you see to welcome you to the clinic. Morgan takes care of all bookings, making sure that your appointment and the administration of your care is handled efficiently and always with a smile. She loves being part of a client’s journey, ensuring it is as seamless and relaxing as possible. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing clients return delighted with their results, watching as they develop a newfound boost of confidence with each treatment.
Front of House
Mara Sturton is the Clinical Manager, responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic. It is Mara’s job to ensure that our practitioners and therapists have everything they need to perform treatments and deliver the best possible experience at our clinic. Mara has worked at Clinetix since 2019, when Clinetix acquired the clinic but also worked for the former clinic since 2014. Since Clinetix brought their patient-centred ethos to Clinetix Grampian, the practice has gone from strength to strength. Mara has helped develop a lovely, friendly, talented team, all dedicated to delivering a trusted, confidential, bespoke service to the local community. Mara loves nothing more than hearing clients comment on the friendly welcome and professional service they get from their experience at Clinetix.
